Hastelloy C-276  alloy is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy containing tungsten. It has a face-centered cubic lattice structure. Because of its extremely low content of silicon and carbon, it is considered a universal anti-corrosion alloy. Both have good corrosion resistance. Therefore, in the past 30 years, it has been widely used in the harsh corrosive environment, such as chemical industry, petrochemical industry, flue gas desulfurization, pulp and paper, environmental protection and other industrial fields.

Hastelloy C-276 has excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Hastelloy C-276 has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion. Among them, the higher content of Mo and Cr makes the alloy have chloride ion corrosion resistance, especially for high-concentration chloride solutions such as ferric chloride and copper chloride, which has significant corrosion resistance. Hastelloy C-276 alloy is one of the only materials that are resistant to corrosion by wet chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solutions, and is suitable for various concentrations of sulfuric acid solutions. It is one of the few that can be applied to heat concentration One of the materials of sulfuric acid solution.
