Product application
Nichrome is an important alloy material, mainly composed of nickel and chromium, and may contain a small amount of other metals such as iron, manganese and silicon. Nichrome has high resistivity, good weldability, high temperature resistance and oxidation resistance. The service temperature can be as high as 1200℃. It has a longer service life than FeCrAl alloy. It is an ideal material for resistors and heating elements and widely used in industrial furnaces, household appliances and resistor manufacturing, such as wire wound resistors, metal film resistors, electric ovens, hair dryers, water heaters, heat-resistant metal casings, etc.
Chengyuan Alloy mainly produces Nichrome grades including Cr20Ni80, Cr30Ni70, Cr15Ni60, Cr20Ni35, etc. The main production forms include wire, flat wire, strip, foil, plate, bar, wire mesh.
In addition to conventional Cr20Ni80, Chengyuan Alloy can also produce Ni80Cr20-N, which adds a certain amount of zirconium to Ni80Cr20. It has better surface quality, lower impurity content and longer service life than Cr20Ni80.
